Have you thought about trying the Noise reducing plug Brock sells? I have it for my Alien head on my 08 busa and it makes a huge difference with the plug in and it's easy in and easy out. Just a thought if you like how the pipe looks.

I've got a Gen3 Carbon end can sitting in my garage. I got the Alien Head Conversion kit, so the carbon can is collecting dust. I'd consider selling it.

That reducing plug could be a good idea...thanks bently, forgot about that thing! Thanks hawkman, I'm not sure if the can would just attach to the rest of the system. I remember seeing on Brock's site the megaphone conversion kit from gen3 to megaphone, not sure how it is in reverse. At first I liked the smeg because of look and max power w/200mph package, then it got to a point that I didn't need that set up any more. I wouldn't mind having a gen 3 can on there, I have the different maps, etc...but I can spend $100, put the plug in there and be done with it. If the gen3 can does work without anything extra, how much? Thanks guys!

The Gen3 can does work. The headers for the Gen3, Smeg and Alien Head are the same. If you want it, drop me a PM with an offer. Like I said, it's just sitting. Looks great when on the bike, too.

along with the side grills came 100 pounds of weight that don't support my style of riding.

I miss the Brock's system- I already called and spoke to some people there about exhausts for the race track, but the drag bike business seems to have them extremely occupied!

Yaa I was wondering about some of there exhausts myself. Seems like those side pipes would hit down pretty early. Honestly, I do agree with you about the handling of the bike in the twisties. It can do it, but unless you're my size it has to be a chore to work it like that.

It is no track bike for sure, but I only weigh 220 SOLID! and have never had issue with it.
The smeg has never dragged while leaned over, and I had her way down on the very edge, no chickenstrips in BC last summer. well ok maybe 1/8 " chicken... LOL

The few people I have heard of pushing the bike till the fairing drags, then feelers, then pipe, eventually wound up draging alot more than that!

I found countersteering and using my weight on the rear pegs made transitions super simple, hell, even with the arm I could counter it so hard the frt tire would chirp from the snap in transition! LOL

Figured i better ease up on it before it spit me off! LOL

It does well until you get to about 90% of full lean then you start feeling the weight 'assisting' by trying to pull the bike down. Easily adjusted for, but a bit unsettling if you are used to lighter nimbler bikes. I've got the hang of it now I think, but it is noticeably heavier at sharp lean angles, especially at slower speeds. Above 70mph? No problem, practically corners itself lol.
