Morons at work --

Good thing this guy isn't running for president -- check out his post about HP gains by adding a pipe to the C14 and the Dyno runs he posts...what a moron!! His screen name is "Flying Kaw". He's an obvious idiot, but I thought this would be good for a laugh here...it's about the C14, but since it's the same basic motor as tha ZX14, I thought this would be appropriate here.

All I have to say is I know Dale Walker. He's a stand up guy. His dyno sheets on all the other bikes he installed his pipes on can and have been duplicated. That dyno sheet was piped and tuned. Doesn't it look a lot more like a ZX14 chart now? The Two Brothers chart is hard to read but looks very much the same and they didn't even install a PC3 and tune the bike yet.

Ya but look at the gains at 3400 from only a pipe and a map...looks way off to me. You don't get 15+ FT LBS at the rear wheel at 2500 rpm on a ZX14 with that mod either, unless you pull the flies.

Well, it may "look" way off. But no reason to belittle someone.

Let's wait and take a look at his results...

Well you are starting with a corked up de-tuned zx14 engine that only starts out with about 80ft-lbs and 135hp.

You pal, have an attitude problem. BIG TIME. Always on the attack. No matter what anyone has to say. Why don't you grow up.

That's more sentenes of wasted time than you're worth the effort of. I'm confident you'll stew on this about .2 seconds and them come back with a real slammer because YOU KNOW IT ALL!

I found it to be an interesting read on both sides of the fence... including the third guy that jumped in later...

Not sure about 15, but I do think that the variable valve timing on the connie is going to change the equation a bit.

It doesn't seem to me that an engine with vvt will benefit any more from a pipe change than a non vvt engine. Maybe I'm missing something, but the vvt will not change no matter what pipe you use. It is predetermined by the ecu. It will be interesting to see the results.

The only thing different here, is that the bike has cats everywhere and when you remove them all, you might see a larger gain than normal, but not 15 LBS TQ at 2500 RPM at the rear wheel; gimme a break.
