I need some input on Brocks Sidewinder
I am going from a Muzzys SS to a Brocks sidwinder and his lowering links as well as adding an Ohlins shock and Coby is cutting down my pan. My question is this. Is thing going to be streetable any longer or should I start looking for another bike for the street? Since I am married with kids I only have me on the bike and I only ride back and forth to work (20 miles of highway and interstate), I would like to continue to put street miles on the 14 but I don't want to beat up the pipe. I am a freak about keeping things nice and could not stand having a flat spot on the meg. Any input is appreciated.

Why not just go with the street meg or the alien head?

If you lower the bike enough to take advantage of the cut pan and sidewinder, it won't
be much good on the street. If you don't go too low, ie just for the drag look, you can do it with careful right turns.

the sidewinder will drastically inhibit the rightside cornering clearance especially if you lower the bike. .... to the point that if you have to make a defensive manouver on the street you may end up laying it down due to the metal on the ground unweighting the rubber...
ouch!
Yes alien head ot street meg much much better for street.

Thanks for the input guys, I already have the sidewinder sitting in the shop. As soon as the pan is back I will start putting everything together. I guess I will have to look for another bike, the wife is going to love this!
