Who has an 08 14???
Who is already riding an 08 14?
What do you think about it?
Or.............. who's definitely getting one?
In case you missed it, I got mine on Oct. 26th.
With 582 miles, I'm still lovin' it!

I do (picked up today at 4:00) and it's got a whopping 32 miles on it , 40 Degrees, wind blowing like hell, and got dark so I brought her to the barn. It's weird blue outside, black in the garage , kinda cool though! It has more low end grunt than my 06 which is a welcome change. That's about all I can contribute at the moment, need more miles. I love it so far and I'm sure the best is yet to come. I have been waiting on the new busas and sat on one, well let's just say it wasn't what I expected, I could tell no difference in the ergonomics side of things. Love the 14, love the blue. I'm a happy man.

Picked mine up on Saturday. Had time for a quick ride on Sunday and that's about it.
Much like you Lucky I kept the flies in on my 07. The 08 pulls harder and smoother than the 07 ever did. When the front wheel comes up it is nice and predictable, not in a sudden rush. Getting the 08 was a good choice.
I got the dark blue, very nice colour.

Good to see that I'm not the only one! I was starting to wonder.
Also blue is the unanimous choice, so far!
I realize that it's not the best time of the year to buy a new bike, but I couldn't wait any longer!
I'm waiting for a couple of silver ones to show up here, if the rumors are true.

WTF? Where are you ?
Fay Myers in Denver, BIG dealer (Kaw, Suz, KTM, MV Agusta, Duc, Honda, Aprilia) told me they wouldn't see them until January!! I think I'll stop by tomorrow just to make sure they don't have any.

They have been plentiful in the DFW TX area since a week before I bought mine on Oct. 26.
I personally saw all 3 colors at 3 different dealers.
I *think* that this is a major distribution center for Kaw, so it's a short trip to ship them to dealers here.
On the other hand, how long does it take for a big rig to make it from Dallas to Denver? Not 3 months.........................

Hey Connman I am in Vancouver Canada. My local dealer Burnaby Kawasaki ordered one in for me. They said they were available to dealers after the Canadian dealer show which was in October.
I am sure that they have others by now. Check with your local dealer I am sure that if you want one it can be ordered and shipped within the month.

Blue 08 here in Indiana, only got 200 miles on and it's to cold to ride. Supposed to warm up a bit this Saturday. Probably the last nice day this year. Still have not seen a silver one.

Came home during lunch today and took the 08 for a 20 mile ride, a pretty quick 20 mile ride. The bike is sweet. Blue in the sun ,Black in shade. It's suppose to be 55-60 here Saturday, hoping to get in about a 150 miles during that short window of opportunity. Can't wait! Pull so much better and smoother down low. Did they change the gearing or is it all in the motor?

Welcome!
I have been thinking that the Power Commander people had just not seen an 08 yet, so they don't know for sure. I'm waiing for someone (Brock) to say for sure.
I just checked the PC site, and that was SCARY.
I selected Kaw>ZX-14>2008 and there is a picture of the BUSA!!!
