1417 kit exhaust
hey guys i have a 1417 being built as we speak, my ? is which sidewinder will give best performance muzzy or brock i already have a muzzy now, just dont wont to spend extra money if i dont have too thanks

Is the 1417 kit just a piston kit? Im wanting 2 get a nitrous motor built for my 14 this winter. Let us know details and est cost. thanks.

kawasaki_rick, the 1417 is the 2mm over piston kit. Cost can range depending on who builds it for you. From some of the numbers I have been hearing, it really varies. I think Carpenters Racing prices are the highest, which they tend to be anyway. $6100 for the 1417 kit by Carpenter, which includes the head porting, valves springs, cams and pistons. I have seen the same job as low as $4800 with another shop. Before you decide which shop to go with, do your research and ask questions.

Turboing it is a whole different level. Everybody aint ready for that kind of power nd with anything else, turboing a bike can present some problems of it's own, even if it's done right, plus everybody don't want people to know that their bike is built. You can't hide that with a turbo.

A sidewinder is not really like a canister exhaust I would think you wouldnt see that much difference between a muzzy and a Brock sidewinder I think SMokin has tested both he will probably no some hard numbers!!

You will have to call Brock for the price but i think it's the same price coated or not ..Smokin..
