Removing Flies
Has anyone besides myself had any difficulty removing screws. Don't really care to strip them out, any suggestions? Have read that some have tapped on end of screwdriver with mallet, but I do not want to bend shaft.

try heating the screws with a soldering iron. Dont use a mallet, you risk bending the bar they are mounted on which is a COMPLETE PITA.. Use a 10" #2 crosstip and seat it into the head of the screw. Mine came out really easily. I also taped the plates to ensure they stayed closed.

Ditto, Heating them with a soldering gun works really well..Just hold it on the screws for about 15 sec and they come right out..And if you have a good japanese standard screwdriver set it also works better...than a american standard set...Just use one of those cheap, takes forever to heat up guns its easyier to reach the screws..

ya heating the factory locktite a little and the screws will give with little effort.
BUT also insure you use a fresh correct size screwdriver
