More Horsepower for zx14
My friend just came back from the Kawasaki show showing new models and the zx14 gets 13 more ponies.

We all love to hear stuff like this but without concrete details it is rather meaningless. Until there are customer dynos of an '08 it is all smoke and mirrors.

13 more hp sounds like alot for same cc engine with some small changes for 08.
i guess will see when they do the real test.

Don't believe the 13 more hp, 5 to 7 maybe. And which show did he just get back from the kawasaki dealer show was a few weeks ago

12 horse power increase is about what you get between 3 and 4 thousand rpm when you remove the secondary butterflys.

It's not 13 more hp, it's 3. Easy to find it on any official European kawasaki site.

Uhhhh -- here's a thought, specs are already released and it shows about 2.7 more HP, not 13...Dohhhhhh, yer bud's a moosehead. 
Can you read specs? Where do you make this shit up anyway? You have a shit factory somewhere?

Sport Rider says it does get more power for 08, but no numbers. Says kawi did some port reworking in the heads.

Numbers are in 175.5 with 11 miles on the bike .....

About 162 or so...but crank HP is about 2.5-3 peak HP increase according to Kawi...and RW Dyno runs are very subjective anyway...
