I saw the video first which clearly shows that the Hayabusa could not catch the Kawasaki.
Then I read the article in UK's Motor Cycle News yesterday which states that the Hayabusa is quicker than the Kawasaki:
0 to 100 mph, Suzuki = 5.45 sec, Kawa = 5.54 sec
1/4 mile, Suzuki = 10.21 sec, Kawa = 10.36 sec
Roll on acceleration = Suzuki quicker everywhere.
That same newspaper gave the 14 a standing quarter of 10.185 in June last year, a new record apparently but no mention of that here.
They say the camera never lies, maybe MCN stands for "More Crap than News".
I wonder how they'll get out of testing the 2008 ZX14 alongside the Hayabusa.

There you go ! what were we telling you about that first video , they did not have a serious race on that video, but when the hayabusa accelerated hard , it was in actual fact reeling the zx14 in.
but it is funny to read how you guys get your hopes high without any proof, well you still have hope ,2008 zx might be able to offer more resistance ! But i think busa is the king for the next few years at least. Now its 2 magazine tests with similar results the busa spanking the zx14 in both !!!

gstring missed Bobc's point altogether....
his string must be cuttin off circulation LOL.
the zx14 ran better numbers last year when tested by itself, than it did this year against the new busa....

That's the overseas crap. Their test don't count. Their numbers are different than ours. Do you know what they call a BigMac over there?
