Looking for info on race suits
AM in the market for 1 piece race suit anyone have good info on what to look for and not ?
Like cow hide versus kangaroo leather etc

joe rocket makes a good 'bang4thebuck' suit. Good quality for the price and the sizes run true.

also alpinestars and dainese make nice ones. and sure people will chime in with ultra-cheap brands that are fine too, but you know the saying...

What is your intended purpose for the suit? Street or racing?
Racing suits will have different requirements, depending on the venue.

I assume the purpose he wants one is RACING
a 1 piece is such a pain in the *ss that for knee-draggin street I have a 2 -piece suit, so the jacket can easily come off. On the track my 1 piece is priceless
I got this alpinestars 1 peice for less than $550 bucks on a closeout
Dainese 2-peice ran around $500

I'm in the market as well, but would like to go with a kangroo suit, they weigh alot less and are more comfortable imo.

needs are for Drag racing , But i want to also have the best protection for some heavy street stuff we do . The ones i have looked at so far are these listed on ebay !

Kangaroo for sure, you bounce better when you fall off. 
.....also superior scuff resistance.
My tip: the suit material saves your skin but the body armour saves your bones, so buy one with decent body armour and enough room to allow you to wear a proper full-length back protector. Then break it in a bit before you go racing.

Just doesn't look right without road burns..Push harder and you will crash then you will have a riding suit....Nice looking bikes steve...Just take the suit off and drag it behind your yugo for 100 miles then go race....
