Never seen a 210 and why would you want to, It will make the bike handle like shit.. Or is it just for drag racing...If you spin a 300 hard enough it will be a 210 just run with 3 lbs in the tire...I am not sure but i think most folks run a slick for drag racing...A 210 will just slow down the ability to flick it from corner to corner transition....If anything you might want to improve front contact patch not the rear...If you are just looking for the cool factor..Buy a BIG DOG 300 rear 110 front...

As far as drag racing goes dont you want a lighter tire like a 180 or 190. It seems i asked this question a while back and thats the answer i got. So i use a 190.

EZ, Don't do it... That is a cruiser bike tire. I had one on my 05 Vmax. The compound is hard and it doesn't grip well at all. And look out if it rains!!! The only thing that tire will stick to is the wheel itself. Settle for a 200 series Sport Bike tire if you want something with a little more width. You'll be riding much happier & safer in the long run, I promise!

Some guys like show and some like go.
I see guys with 240 -300 big tire kits that are totally happy.
There are other guys going to a 16 inch front with 1 rotor and a 180 rear.
Pick your flavor and enjoy.

What ??? TF There is a reason why Kawasaki spends millions on research and development...Stick with the stocker size..Or it will make the bike handle less than specs..Maybe not be noticeable for the average rider....Put put it on the race track and you will get spanked...Good luck !

it was for looks only. and i agree that the millions in engineering came up with the 190 for good reason ( like a 9 second et)

i dont drag my bike; i just like to accelerate and feel the g's. i got a harley but it aint got no g's ; and yes metzler was the tire i was researching. i actually like the shinko as it seemed to wear better than a dunlop on my r1.

i might go with a 200; as this worked well on the smaller r1. dunno; i was just musing;

p.s. nightmare, in saved yur avatar...........that floats my boat

ok for what its worth, i bit the bullet and bought the metzler 210 50 zr17 tire; it fits very well. got a buttload of room on the right side and i would estimate 7 mm clearance on the chain side. this tireloooks much wider than the 10 extra millimeters implies.

i had no desire to get a wide tire kit but i do like the look of the pro streeters. i do not ride in the rain and i (famous last words ) am ultra careful when i get caught in it; if i can ride a harley low rider in the rain with their shit brakes , i m hoping to be safe on this

relative to handling, i cant ttell an obvious difference; i dont drag race it nor am i a twisty person. i just ride for the pleasure of it . i suppose that if one were to do the race thing, the extra weight and bulk would cost a few hundredths.

anyhoo, there ya are; a cheap prostreet look that looks good (imho) and ya dont have to spend 5 grand; i mean whats 90 mm

oh and since i got no positve itl fit responses; i think ill be a trend setter

oh i forgot; the good thing is you all dont have to brekdown and mount that muhfugger to save 40 bucks in case it was too big.

ezmike, I never scene a tire manufacturer who ever offered a 210. U sure you don't mean 200/50/17?

metzler 210/50 zr17 at least thats what it says on the tire; i think metzler is the only co. that makes the 210.

also i measured and measured side millimeters from the stock 190 and came up approximately correct on the tighter chain side.

once again , i did it to squeeze a larger tire under the rear without spending thousands on a kit which will really effect handling. there are a million fat tires out there on sportbikes but this is the first one i have heard of and oi am on several forums.

also with a bit of kentucky windage and some spacing, a 230 or perhaps a 240 will go in the hole. but i dont think a 230n is made yet, nor a 220 for that matter. if shink made a 210 , i think it would be better because as staTED PREVIOUSLYoops they seem to have a lower configuration; buit they dont make one so its the proverbial ............moot point
