08 Busa newest 1/4 mile numbers
Got an email earlier today from Brock and i wasn't going to post it till i got an OK from Brock to post it .. But someone on the Busa site leaked it out allready earlier today ..
9.76 @ 148 Richard Gadson riding Brocks 08 busa , same bike that Brock had on the dyno that made 177 HP ...The bike had Brocks clutch mod and strapped front end NO other mods !!! Brock stated it is FAST !!!
I did some checking in Brocks Diary part one ....Brock rode his 06 zx14 to a 9.76 @ 142 with just a strap and lowered ...
Brock at the time weighed 200 pounds and i believe that Richard Gadson weighs in at 150 pounds..
I will let you guys come to your own conclusions on the numbers ...

Man i love this stuff ....It's Muscle car wars again !!! Hemi Cuda vs LS6 Chevelle all over again....The 60s and 70s are back .......Way to cool !!!!!!!!!

Um Unless I am missing something this isnt looking good for the busa guys Not taking anyhting away from Brock but if he rode the 14 to a 9.76 and Rickey got the same numbers on the Busa as Brock got on the 14 this could get ugly

NOT Ricky Gadson riding ...Ricky Gadson is Richards Gadson Uncle .....  Richard is a pro also and he does race in prostar .... smokin...

ps I know of the first 08 busa crash ( not major ) but damaged the whole side and exhaust - - - i will keep you posted - - - btw the bike was running 10.30s 142mph a best run of 10.teens with a good road /drag racer on it 165lbs or so

I think there gonna be close, i really wish it was like a few months ahead so all this talk would be proven. I love shit talk as much as everyone else, and i love Busa's but around here thats all everybody rides, which means they think there is nothing faster!! It really pisses me off. If i could live in another state at the same time i would own a busa. But i like to be different and i love my 14.

Yes i heard that also it was a Magzine writer from CW that crashed ...

Lee I know who Richard is I just misread it LOL that is just as bad though cause Richard is a LIGHTWEIGHT.... ANd this is WITH THE CLUTCH MOD??? Lee does that not sound like bad news to you for the busa guys, I wonder if Brock is gonna put some spin on it or if he is going to just put it out there

No Brock is a stand up guy and i'm sure he will print it as it happened ... Yes with his clutch mod and strapped ...NOT lowered and that could make a difference ...
This is the first test and tune for the 08 Busa that i know of so the jury is still out ....But if it's this close what happens when Ricky get his hands on a 08 zx14 ???? Could get ugly real fast ....

I didn't see the ticket .. Brock told me the 08 Busa ran 148 MPH .. Someone else posted it was 147.99 ... That might as well be 148 ...Smokin..

I hope it does get ugly LOL i would love to see a blowout, but I dont think it is going to happen and it probably wouldnt matter even if it did we wouldnt be able to convince anybody. That is the real Magic of the Busa they need to change its name to David Koresh or Jim Jones cause people think the busa hung the moon and that nothing can touch it even when the facts prove them wrong

I'll tell you the Busa guys should be very happy with them numbers ..... !!! We own very fast bikes ( zx14s ) now the Busa guys will know what we allready know and have known since 06 ...Smokin...

theres still more in that bike.not even lowerd in the rear.with the et of 9.76 sounds like the 60ft are not that low.with more time you could see 9.30 with that mph and thats with just clutch.wait till mikey slow rides it or dennis green.

Just got some more info . No light weight rider this time ..Brock him self riding with the 08 busa lowered front and rear , mirrors removed and his 0 wt oil ... 9.72 @ 149.55 ..... Good job Brock !!!
I'm sure Brock will be starting a Diary soon and we can watch the mods and ETs drop ..

If it went 149 with stock exhaust it's going to fly with Brocks pipe, I can sleep better tonight now knowing it will out run my 06 14, now we will see how it stacks up against the 08 14.

thats flying with 200 puonds plus.stock engine.they must be still spinning out the whole.thats still around 7 mph faster than what he did on his 14.good jod brock glad to see you back on the busa.

those numbers are good but your comparing a bike with clutch mods oil change no mirrors n 500 miles on it to a no mod 14 with 100 miles on it
