Because this was Kevin first time to ride a Turbo bike ever and his first time to run a land speed event, Terry started him out as low as the XXX Chrome Plating Stage III Mr Turbo bike would go for his first several passes. He improved at over 10 mph every run the first 4 runs on Saturday until he ran 209 without increasing power on Saturday! Sunday he increased the power to less than 1/3 it's capability and in perfect form Kevin increased 10+ MPH per run until his seventh pass, with only 14 miles of seat time on the bike ever, Ran 230.157! The XXX Chrome Plating Mr Turbo Stage III ZX14 in my opinion will not only soon be the worlds Fastest Kawasaki but will likely be a contender for the fastest bike ever! But that's just my opinion and I maybe somewhat bias!!!!

I must say that a turbo kit has definately peeked my interest even further now. My only issue would be building the motor AND adding the kit.

The Mr Turbo Stage I kit will easily run 200. There has been two that have run 199ish already, one with a lock up and inadequate gearing the other was geared right but the stock clutch slipped in high gear! Both of which plan to be at the next event to do 200+!

Nice to see some good results from the 14's in Texas. The 14's have been very quiet at Maxton this year....

Kevin had never ridden a Turbo bike of any kind before that Saturday at the Texas mile and had never ran any kind of Land Speed Race! I also have the pass on video along with him picking up his time slip with it pulling up to me with the time filmed. More interesting this was done a boost level that the stage II runs at all day long and less than 10 pounds more than a stage I kit runs! Sounds to me like the Busa's are running scared!! I can assure you had there been enough traction it would have been the worlds fastest Kawasaki period at 240+. I will post a picture of the rear tire later today and the link to the tape of the run if I can figure out how?

Thanks guys for all your support, it is true the xxx14 did go 230mph and was spinning the tire at 150mph. i was getting in and out of it a ton trying to pedal it to get traction . we ended up using minimal boost. What a rush, it is like a one mile drag race. I will be posting some pictures in a little while and going more into detail if you guys are intrested.

once again thanks to all the zx14.com guys that were there, just the best bunch of guys. You guys have to see what the rear tire looks like. it started ripping apart from the high speed wheel spin
