This is Maxton this year:

And this is TX Mile in March:

Maxton doesn't look as smooth or as well kept, and has a bend at the beginning.
But TX almost always has headwinds and only has 1/2 mile to stop in shut-down.
No problem for either one, just different tracks, is my take on it anyway.

Texas Mile looks ten times better them maxton. Someone needs to get the cem-lawn man to sponsor the track and kill all the weeds.

Just don't hurt your damn bike. That goes for TG as well. I'm giving this Gainsville thing some serious consideration. Its only 1100 miles, which for me is a two day drive, one way.

Ifly,

Being I have to go to houston to pick the bike up and XXX was going too we decided to go together. Both of us are drag racers by heart! The mile will just give us a good place to get a feel for the bike. Neither of us have ever ran any LSR, so I for one think it will be a neat place to test the bike out. I realize that the racers there will have earned it and I am just a newby. If you decide to go to Gainsville I will do my best to go also! XXX is going for sure! It is about 1000 miles for me and even farther for XXX! I have been to the World Finals at Gainsville several times, it is not only one of my favorite races, it is a wonderfully run, good track. We would all have a good time!
