Set it between 2500 and 3500 and ride the clutch dawg! Going to be a learning experience since you don't have the flies removed yet. You really need to work on getting that done. By the way, you better turn the caps lock off or you'll get hit by the police! LOL!

Make sure your throttle cables are adjusted....
I see so many guys riding with only 90 % throttle when twisted wide open....
I have to laugh....
Drag the clutch out just enough the bike wants to creep, and hold it back with your feet when staging.....
this removes the slack in the drivetrain.
Remove the throttle plates, the 14 is a bear to launch predicatacbly with out bogging , or wheeliing with it restricted.... The power is like a light switch at 6000 rpm
When i lowered mine 1.25" at each end it would still wheelie at 8000 rpm in 1st, but would not come up as violently. It just carried the front about 4" off the ground in second compared to standing up straight, so lowering is a definate advantage.
My 6 inch arm set at 5 " over, now only skims the ground in 1st and second and I can wring the nuts right out of her!

Thanks, but i tried slowly letting out the clutch at 3500 but it just bogs down so I take it up to 6000 and slowly let out the clutch , I know that has to fuck up the clutch, but takes off like a rocket. should I stop doing that.

Thats exactly what I am saying bro.
The flies need to come out, or you can burn up the clutch above 6000 everytime...
Thing with 6000 rpm launches is if you let it go to early it will still bog , spin or wheelie!
Or all the above ... LOL
I rode mine like that with the flies in for about 4 weeks, then removed them, rode for another 4 weeks before getting a good map from Brock with the pipe....
He probably still is mad at me.... I ( we) but me especially, hounded the piss out of him for a fly less map....until he developed one! He lambasted us(me) for removing the flies then demanding a fly less map for the his pipe.... He was going to make one I am sure, just that we wnet ahead and removed the flies before he had a chance to map his bike that way....
Once he rode his bike without the flies though, he went and made a map asap.
Good guy that Brock, great support.
I have to say Ryan and Nick at Schnitz racing have been wonderful to deal with as well.
Technical support from either Brock or Schnitz has set the benchmark in my eyes.

That is the nice thing about these bikes. As long as you keep them off the rev limiter the only thing youare going to hurt is the clutch. The 14's clutch is one of the best out there for taking abuse. Just keep a spare set of fibers and steels with you and have fun. No need to spend money on upgrades either, just run oem plates and you will be fine. You can get them from Schnitz reasonable.

it was hard for me to believe but it is easier to launch without the flies because you have all the control, with the flies in you launch, bog a little then it comes on like a freight train, harder to control. flies out you can leave at a lower rpm without the bog.
