tire changing ?
Simple question, What does the drag racers use for tire changing can the 14 tires be done with some muscle and tire iron tools found at a local shop or do you guys buy a expensive machine and take it to the track. My local shop wants $55 per tire if you dont buy the tires from them. Balancing is easy ! just need to know if there is a manual tool that can be used for less than 3 grand. Thanks !

I would not use tire irons... you are riding a bike capable of 185+ mph. Pay the tire shop their price, try to be cheap and you will pay much more in some other way.... Broken tire bead causing high speed get-off.... Get the picture??

Thanks ! have you or do you know anyone who has purchased these tire changers dont mind spending a grand. With 4 bikes in my shop it would be worth it.

there is a great manual tire changer out there for around 350 bucks i we have one I just cant remember where we got it but I will try to find out and get back to you

The clasic model is $595. A little pricey but change 11 tireS @ 55 per and it is paid for.
Change your buddys @ $20 and your in bussiness

I'm with TM - get the right stuff. Too many have learned the hard way with tire failures and/or rims scratched all to %$#! while trying to save a buck
