Any strap kits that won't strap across a scott's damper?
Title pretty much sums it up. I can tell where the strap kits mount down by the calipers. Are there any that don't wrap around the frame?

You can get one that wraps around the frame. There is room enough for the strap to go behind the two mounting points of the dampner. I have the Scotts and a Brocks strip kit.
Only negative: a 1/3 the strap folds onto its self, but i dont see this as being a big deal.

Or you can lower it at the forks which eliminates the use of any strap.

I ordered Brocks and will just strap over the lower triple.
Flyboy- I have lowered the forks in the triples. I don't think that really eliminates the the use of the strap though does it? I thought the goal of the strap was to lower, but also to eliminate some of the suspension's movement during a launch.

I lowered the bike by 1cm at the front and have a Schnitz strap that I can run over the lower triple clamp but it's long enough to go over the fame too.
I found a combination of lowering 1cm (about 0.4 inches) and strapping is better because there is still some suspension movement left to absorb bumps and it still launches without lift. With it just strapped right down the front tyre is the only suspension and the total lack of damping can cause it to bounce. Also with the strap removed for road riding and the rear back at standard height it handles just fine with the front down a little.
