MIA 2008 ZX-14
Hi All,
Just a note of all the surfing I've been doing I can not find a single Kawasaki website showing the 2008 ZX-14 in new colors or otherwise. The European sites I believe have the entire 08 line-up and there is no ZX-14 period. Seem pretty obvious to me there are only 2 possibilities.
1. The 2008 ZX-14 WILL be revised and seeing Young Machine is offline I'm not able to get clues to what it may look like or what has been modified. OR
2. Euro-weenies clipped the ZX-14's wings., Which I doubt because the new Busa seems to be heading that way at least for 2008.

Rob i betting number 1 .... Seeing that Young machine said more power and the same looks ...... Brock stated more hp for the zx14 ....Kaw Rep told me 7 more hp for 08 .... My bet is Kawi waiting for Zook to put out the new numbers for the Busa and then drop the hammer with the New zx14 Specs .....Kawi seems to be on a path of one upping zook at ever corner ....The 08 zx10 with a new engine that packs the same mid range but more HP in higher RPMs is a clue that Kawi is no longer going to take a back seat to anyone ...

kawasaki dropped a bomb in the sport-touring dept. with the new c-14, doubt they're stopping there. i don't think it's just suzuki they are after

Thanks for the information, I've been pulling my hair out looking for the new bike and when I finally find a website with the 08 Information there is nothing there. agh.
I also suspect Honda has a new VFR in the wings. In 1997 (yea 10 years ago) Honda released their line up then 2 weeks later at the Paris Show (in 1997 this was the 2nd major motorbike show) BAM there it was the new VFR800. I'm thinking Honda and Kawasaki are planning the same in 2007 seeing the Honda's website does not show a CBR1000.
I don't know if you read my earlier prediction, but before the young machine website went down I did see a pic of a sportbike that at the time I thought was the ZX10. Now that I've seen the 10 I can confirm it was not the 10. IF that pic was the ZX14 or maybe ZX15 it was beautiful very very easy on the eyes.

ZX12dak,
I'm pretty confident that is the 2007. Back up 1 page and click on the 2008 models and there will be no ZX-14 or ZZR-1400 as it is called in UK.

The link you gave is "New Models 2008" but the 14 is listed on the kawasaki.co.uk web site under "Motorcycles - Sports Tourer" which means it is an existing, rather than new model. We can only hope for some 2008 power tweaks as we know how good the bike is when all the power is liberated.

I really like the techno stuff on the C-14. Would I trade up?...Well I don't think the wife would let me at this point, but next year...maybe when they go on sale.

Sorry I did not get back sooner work calls.
I do have another question, When is Europe's 2nd Major Motorbike Show? From what I understand it switches from Germany to France every other year. I suspect the first show is over and the 2nd show should happen in about 1 week. Could someone confirm this for me, the thought's from above are from at least 8 years ago.

Just nix the Flies or give us a switch so we can have the option to keep them open or on low end restriction (much like suzuki's power selector switch).
Green and Black color scheme NOW!!
That's pretty much it. Maybe a few more horsies.
