Weather Predictions ???

We get quoted with 60% chance of rain SAT and SUN, I leave the bike home and nothing.
The other night I take a ride out to watch Thursday Night Preseason Football. There was a 20% chance and nothing on radar. It's getting close to halftime, and I see some flashes of lightning out the window. I say check please, jump on the bike and two blocks later I'm in a monsoon. Hell the money in my wallet was wet along with the shoes being full of water. I wish they did a better job of predicting. All I have to do is wash the bike up and KABOOM we have a frog choker. Then its a dry day and I should have rode in, but no.

I have ridden from Tampa to Montgomery in the rain before in proper rain gear. But at 95 degrees in a rubber suit it would not be my preference to ride in the rain. Also I like to keep the bike clean and lets say that riding in the rain does not contribute to a spotless machine. Also the traction sux compared to dry. I can ride in the rain. I prefer not to. Plus there is no storage space on my bike and I don't like the luggage look.
