if you don't stay on the fuel as long as possible and brake late at the last second, everyone on the track is going to pass you. Especially on the tracks with straights, who DOESN'T use brakes!? Thats why the ZX14 will be brutally mortified, having to slow it down so much earlier while everyone else is still gassing. I hope someone brings a 14 to team hammer race school and track day at Daytona.
I was thinking of taping mine up and bring it instead of the race bike to knee-drag slowwwwly around the turns. Slower lap times, but fun :P

sounds like a great idea .... you can do it!!! just be safe ya don't want to F-up the 14 it would cost a small fortune to repair.OEM-AFTERMARKET

they must have really changed daytona since the last time i was there, are you talking about the tri-oval speedway with the 3000ft straights or a different track?

It gets totally changed for motorcycle racing, and room provided to slide off the bike/crash safely around each corner. Its not just the round Nascar track, that would dull the fack out of us wanting to run bikes on the track. May as well ride the "twisties" oin the streets.
You didn't see the AMA track set-up with the chicanes and u-turns and such huh?????? The 14/big bikes would've been ate alive then too.
