a few ZX14/Honda pics
I took some bike pictures-
I heard a noise in the garage and found my bikes were scurrying around and chitchatting. I found them in a heated debate with each other:
The HONDA RR instantly reminded the Kawasaki it is much lighter, much faster on the race tracks with curves, and the RACE BIKE moved itself ahead
But then Kawasaki reminded HONDA it was faster with its brutal horsepower in the first 1/8 of the track before turn 1, and asked HONDA for permission to move forward for 1 pic. And the Kawasaki moved ahead of the RACE BIKE momentarily
When the debate was nearing an end the HONDA RR race bike compromised, but still remained a few inches ahead of the Kawasaki due to its superior performance and the owners weapon of choice on fast road race tracks.
The HONDA race bike quickly reminded the big Kawasaki it lacks "RR" designation and any need whatsoever to ever sport race track numbers
Sure I could've turned it around the other way, but why not bait the ZX14 thread

haha thats funny dude...but I must say that the 14 wins do to the fact that the RR is missing the left hand grip!

Thanks man, note below my signature track bike "project"...I have to ask forgiveness on that note- we're at the tail end of a VORTEX triple tree install and I haven't got the new grips on the VORTEX clips yet on either side

Just street riding. I haven't had enough seat time at a strip to learn to launch it well anyway. I originally intended to only keep it for only one year, and I'm well past that. But I can't imagine parting with the ZX14 for any other street bike thats offered today so I've held onto it. I really like the bike!

Just out,
2008 XZ-14 will be designated RRR trumping Honda's RR

Better late response than never...
I have taken it on the track....topped the thing out @ 160 on the straight. Considering that I am 300lbs and I was working the track fairly well compared to some of the regulars.....I don't feel comfortable leaning so far with the 600 unless I am at high speed...I just feel like I make it to top heavy. The suspension is set for my weight also.

its no secret the red ones are fastest, the red ones are so fast they had to discontinue it. watch smokin' at the drag strip!
but its a mute point, because my little HONDA will eat it ALIVE on the race tracks :P
this thread was all about BS anyway....

I thought about taking my 14 for the thrill of faster tops speeds but knowing the lap times won't be as fast.
biketoberfest is a track day at daytona with its longs sweeping turns. of course I can get the Honda around it faster, plus the 14 would have to be slowed LONG before the turns and go slower in the turns
but anyone is welcome to bring their big 14 and lets see? we'll end this debate.
I own both bikes and know which one will get around a track faster :P

when the 14 is braking LONG ahead of turn one, the little Honda will still be on the throttle wide open laughing as it passes and wondering "what about all these other turns, should I wait for the 14 and do it again and again?"
