anyone have a broke oil pan
Went to a guys house today and had my pan cut was talking to the guy and he makes pans and other things with alum told him how much they get for a pan he said he would make some if he get his hands on a stock one he has a mill and all the stuff to do it and he told me he would be about half of the price of what is out there so if anyone has a busted pan laying around and would like to sell it pm tanks for your time

I am sure there are a lot of people on here with a broke one you can just have... But trust me these things are EXTREMELY complicated to make I am in the process of having one made right now by a company with a 5 axis CNC machine and it has taken them 2 months and a couple of prototypes and they are still not finished

Yup.... And my dad has a bitch'in set of tools.
1969ca.... it is never as easy as it looks. If a company that goes to the expense of creating a CNC program and designing a part as complex as a pan..... and then the machine time alone on a piece of billet Aluminum would be several hours minimum.... just pay them what they want.... it will be cheaper than your buddies... in the PITA costs alone.
