Yes dubious, we have Widebands on our sleds, Yamaha Apexs. We're running nitrous!
He is the first person I know of with the PCiii for the sled. I will get mine this Fall. So because I have a better understanding of this stuff, I have been doing the teaching of how to use it.
His sled would idle better with the accel feature disabled. We noted that the a/f was lean with it disabled too.
I would wonder if modern ECU's like our ZX14's would have this type of thing built in? Making the feature unnecessary.
Funny thing...all summer our weather has been hot, even in the mornings, 22c for the ride to work. Just last week for the first time the morning ride was about 16c, even 14c the one day. The bike ran remarkably better and snappier.
As a result, I turned off the Accel feature and started to lean out my map in the lower rpm and throttle positions in an attempt to gain that extra power.
It's working! I will know when I have gone too far and lose power.
I have been practically carrying around my laptop everyday to work in my backpack!! I ride half way home and make a change!

LOL
you need the lcd and hub then... You can trim the fule cells, or change maps to see what works best without the need to bring the lap top everywhere.
I'm going to tie a wideband o2 sensor into the pressure input guage, it won't show the a/f but the voltage from the o2 sensor is directly proportional, so essentialy I will know what the a/f ratio is.
I hear ya with the mapping changes though. I have tried several of Brocks maps and could "feel" a change in the way the bike picked up revs, responded and pulled under various loads and throttle positions.
I never made any big attempts to change them on the fly, but with the LCD capability, and o2 reading s to back it all up I will be!
You can data log too!

This is exactly what I am talking about....I know what is working when I am driving around.
I may get the LCD, and use it on the sled and the ZX14. However I feel that once I get to a certain point I will leave it be.
Getting a wideband on the ZX14 would be nice for data logging the voltage like you say, as we know what Voltage = A/F ratio. There is a company that sells a gauge for this(not logging though).
Check out the goodies on this page, particularly the "Square Digital Air/Fuel Ratio Gauges (002) "

If interested i have a Wego2 , never installed for sale, which will log tps, rpm and a/f ratio.
Actually will log volts from any 3 sensors, plus o2.
It is brand new never installed.
$300 Canadian
I don't need it now that I have the hub and lcd. which did cost me more however... $500

I just got my WBC, HUB, LCD, and PCIII all working in sync tonight....i am excited about the features. I wonder if DynoJet will release a firmware update for the LCD so that instead of showing a Voltage it shows the actual A/F. Not a big deal though, will just have to memorize my ideal 'voltage'.
Also, this questions about the Accel Pump feature was asked on rswarriors.com and a couple of people who knew what they were talking about, said this feature was almost completely useless.
