your idle is set too low then.
The idle adjuster has a stop that prevents the throttle blades from closing completely wuth the cables.
I adjust my cables so there is no slop at all, it removes alot of drivetrain lash, and makes throttle transitions muc h more linear in corners. the adjusters are up near the right clip on.
if you adjust thenm to tight the throttle return will hang up and cause it to rev.
adjust the return cable so that it returns to the stop in the throttle body, you will hear it hit the stop, and 0-3mm play in the throttle housing when closing it.
Then adjust the pull cable tight, and ensure it has opened the throttle blade wide open against the stop, you will hear it down at the throttle bodies as well.
I often use this asa squid test, i will grab the throttle of the bike in question and twist it to check for play, if its sloppy i know he's another wannabe .
you'd be amazed how many people are riding bikes with dangerous throttle play, and the bike is only giving 90% throttle when twisted wide open because they do not know how to adjust their cables.
