Should You Breakin with Stock or Aftermarket Exhaust?
I would like to know if you can put an aftermarket exhaust on a brand new ZX-14 out the showroom or should you break it in first with the stock exhaust? I've heard different things regarding this. Thanks.

I waited till 125 miles only because my pipe was on back order. Should not make any difference at all.

Rolled out the showroom with mine...
Bigcoolg:
I rolled out the showroom with mine installed (3 miles on the ODO when I got it). The bike hasn't had any issues. Probably the biggest reason I'd say do it from day 1 is the bike will run cooler (you ditch the cats in the mufflers) which drops the radiant heat and the operating temps. Side benefit is you also will drop 15-20 lbs depending on what pipe you run. Did I mention it will sound...way better.
Ride safe.....
