alot of you guys have the wrong idea about this thread. I'm not bashing anyone's bike. everyone should do their bike their way. I was just asking for opinions. it's easy to understand the point of stretching a bike for performance. it's mainly the dead space in front of the rear tire and the tire sticking back past the rear cowl that I find so unattractive. I saw a picture here of one stretched so far that the tire was almost completely behind the rear cowl.

Only reason to streach a bike that far is either the owner is a total wuss and afraid of the front wheel coming up or it is a 500+hp full all out grudge bike.
