Fuel Filter Question
Hey all,
I replaced the Fuel filter today on the VFR and man what a difference it made in performance. Looking over the ZX-14 Shop manual I don't see a replace-able fuel filter. There is a filter in the fuel pump but nowhere did I see how it could be replaced.
Maybe it is Florida Gas but the VFR's filter was 3 years old with 54,000 miles on it and it was filthy. My hope here is that I DO NOT have to replace the fuel pump when the filter is dirty.
Question 1 Is there a replaceable fuel filter on our 14? Is that Seperator a filter?
Question 2 If so then when does Kawasaki expect us to do such a chore.
Hopefully there will be good news in the education of this Smuck-O
Thanks Rob

Smokin,
Cost for a new fuel pump is not as bad as I thought 286 from bike bandit. all the stuff that goes with it your around 350..Please confirm.. I really don't think our bike has a fuel filter. Still it looks easy enough to replace.
