Hi guy´s

got some 5,700 miles on my awesom blue zx14r
no problems so far
put on a set of Scorpion Carbon Bolt-ons
have thoughts bout buying a GiPro T.R.E
after the scorpions were mounted I have some
minor problems with loud backfiring during throttle off
read in some forum that the T.R.E would fix that problem...??
maybe a PC3 also is needed for mapping while running on a Dynobench??

how many rwhp is relevant with this setup??
approx. 1/4 mile results in this setup??
change to K&N airfilter good or same as stock??

All hot tips is of great value

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CgaaMxbkhNw

(post some pics tonite with the scorpions mounted ;--))
Regards
/R

29,000 + kilometers and trouble-free...the 24k tune-up and full service hurts the wallet a bit..and the tire budget needs frequent revisiting...soon chain and sprockets..otherwise fantastic !

Have you been especially hard on the springs? I've heard of people changing fork oil at 10K, but not springs. I haven't felt the need to do anything to my front end and I'm over 11K, but I'm wondering if I'm pushing the limits? Thanks

6069... No problems, but cased it going too fast over a street drain. Think it sits about an inch 'er so too low. IMO. But I love the bike!

Hell compared to some go fasts here I'm easy on my 14.
My front springs have been settling so much my headlight adjustment I did 5k miles ago is too low again.
The front sets down a inch from the weight of the bike and the rear more. Didnt do that new. I like well tuned suspension and KHI came close but I want better.

Yeah, at $300.00+ a piece, you damn right.

By the way, does anyone know of any websites that carry the same or better quality rotor for less?

Tried ebay but not much success.

9800 on mine. Had a little trouble this week when I'd give it a lot of throttle then roll off quick and grab the clutch, it was stalling a lot. I had leaned out Brock's map down low for gas mileage, -10 I think, just below 40% throttle. Talked to a local mechanic and he said I was probably too lean so I went back to brocks street map and everything seems fine so far after 100 miles. Seems to run smoother too. Pirelli Diablo Strata's have over 1000 miles on them now and look brand new. Think my brake pads may need replacement soon.
