Wet Nitrous System?
I have decided on a wet nitrous system for Bonneville. Does anyone have a wet setup on their bikes? Thanks--

Please tell me about your potential power loss. What part of the system would cause something like that?

the nitrous nozzles in a wet system are insinde the intake track which disruptes the air flow less air flow through the head equals less power... I dont know if this is true but I talked to A LOT!!!!!!!! of people that said they had lost as much as 8 horsepower on motor

I spoke with NIck at Schnitz racing and he told me you lost .5 to 1 hp because of the little stem that stuck up in the airflow. I can live with that because instead of doing 200 mph on the highways, I'll only be limited to 198 mph which should make the bike safer.

was the person that told you this also trying to sell a wet kit??? I talked to a bunch of people over on Psychobike who really had no reason to lie and they all said it is a noticeable loss in power even the guy that I bought my wet kit from told me It would lose almost a 10/th of a second on motor

Right now I'm into top speed so acceleration doesn't matter but I'm always interested in what other people have to say about both kits. I decided on a wet system for motor safety reasons. I don't confess to knowing a lot about the use of nitrous but I 'm learning. I don't like to re-invent the wheel so I asking you nitrous guys to help educate me--

If you plan on using the nitrous for your top speed runs then it wont be an issue, the only reason I didnt go with wet is because I didnt plan on spraying that often so the 50 shot dry has worked quite nicely
