pciii or speedohealer?

just wondering what eliminates the lower gears power limit compared too 5th and 6th gear guess im just a little confused. just feels like the bike hits alot harder in 5th and 6th, is it the pciii or the speedohealer that takes care of that?

your stock bike's ecu controls secondary butterflies on the intake of your fuel injectors. the butterflies stay closed during low rpm operation to smooth (tame) the power delivery in lower gears. in sixth gear the butterflies open sooner causing the bike to pull harder sooner. some people remove those secondary butterflies and change the fuel map to accomodate the increased airflow, and significantly increase low end power. you would need a power commander to remap your fuel distribution. the speedo healer is capable of recalibrating your speedometer only, and its primary performance use would be to exceed the 186 mph imposed speed limiter. you make 200mph =20mph and the limiter is defeated.
