Maddog, I don't think they make that much road...anywhere.

Ninja_Knight, go with the 14. I came off a zx12 to the 14. I've got some seat time on an '05 busa too. My 12 was more comfortable than the busa....two totally differnet rides, but I thought the 12 was way more comfy. There is no comparison in comfort between the 12/busa and the 14....the 14 is the absolute best. It is unbeleiveably comfortable, no need for helibars or corbin seat either.

I rode mine 700 miles last friday..... Monday at work the first thing i did was order a seat from corbin because my a$$ still hurt. As stock sportbike seats go it's not bad, but it's not a corbin either.

Dude if you think the stock pillow ZX14 seat is uncomfortable.... try an R1 seat :P

I would crush a 600

Not on the track you wouldn't. I've had 2 Busa's and now a 14. The 14 is more comfortable by far, handles way better and much easier to push down in corners, not to mention braking. I'm 6'2" at 215 LBS. It's as easy at cornering as it is riding my 10R.

lmao

wow, does someone think the ZX14 is faster on the race track than a 600RR with the same rider!?

I believe that he was speaking of the fact that he weighs 303lbs... not that he would 'crush' one in a race... I think it was a joke about his 'large' build. That was what my take on his statement was. I would have to agree.... 303lbs on a 600, the bike wouldn't stand a chance... $#%snap %^# crackle *#&@pop. Until he hit 13000rpms... he would have to be pushing it.

That's exactly what I meant. I would physically squash a 600 like a tin can. That is why I love my 12R; it's brawny like me.

I find it oddyou guys suspect that about heavy folks on 600 bikes being a challenge, I have a friend clocking in around 300 and he has no prob on his 600RR (and is among the fastest on the track where ever we go race).

Being heavy AND riding a heavy bike must be a serious disadvantage on the track. I own a 14 and a 600, and with the swame rider lemmee tell you that 14 will not knee drag around the track NEARLY even as CLOSE to as fast as that 600.

Just having to start braking that big bike so far ahead of everyone in the very first turn is a disadvantage, and little 600 bikes are zooming by because they can brake so much later and corner so much faster. I own both bikes and believe me if anyone wants to run my 600 (or my 300 pound friend on his 600) on the track with your big bike - lets ride

the only chance to be faster on a race track with a zx14 compared with a 600rr is if you pull out 3 of the 4 spark plugs of the 600...

i did.... 3 busas in past 2000,2002,2005 and this is my second zx14. they both great bikes but man i sure enjoy riding the zx14 alot more. smoother, better handling, better brakes.
for sure i can ride it alot longer than busa without getting pain in the ass.
there is nothing out there for me now other than zx14 .

Steve everyone here knows that the ZX14 will not run with a 600 on the track noone is disputing that!!! I am not a big fan of 600's even on the track though I prefer the litrebikes, I am 285 pounds and I bet I can hurt your 300 pound friends feelings on my 05 ZX10
