hi, welcome to the forum
the bigger you go with the rear tire the less conering ability. think about a 180 tire compared to a 300, there you have it, the 300 has less contact on the sides more in the middle.
as far as sticky, many agree the Pilot Powers are the softest/stickiest and corner best, but last the least longest.

Kinda depends on the kind of riding you do ... IMO. Do you run canyons, commute highways, cruise, tour, stunt? It may not matter to some how sticky the sides are if the rider is mostly concerned with street drag. This is a very versatile bike. Perhaps you should choose a tire that best suits your rider profile, personally.... icky-sticky boogery side-walls are a beautiful thing. The tires on my 14 don't look that much different then my 600... that's how I roll, over.

i had a dunlop qualifier on my zx750 and got 1500mi out of it no burnouts, worked good but absolutely not a milage tire. alot of guys i ride with got their qualifiers after i did and there about shot in the same milage, hot days tear the hell out of them. I just put a continental road attack on the 750 about a month and a half ago, they make 2 different tires a road attack and sport attack, road attack has a harder compound for more milage, the bike had approx 900 miles... hard miles, and the lettering down the middle of the tire where it was engraved is just starting to go away. when i got the tire i couldnt believe how deep the grooves were, i am very pleased with this tire. bike handles just as good as it did with the dunlop, but not the wear and still gets sticky

I replaced my rear Tyre a few weeks ago. I went with the pilot power 2CT. Very confidence building Tyre on corners, but one thing I don't like is how the Tyre reacts to quick lane changes at high speeds on the 401 when there are tar strips.
The OE Tyre didn't even acknowledge the tar strips, but the PP 2CT lets you know the strips are there....
That said, I'll put up with the slight issue on tar strips for the grip when leaned over.

you will feel EVERYTHING better with the Pilot Powers. They are much more sensitive to the road. Thats the very first thing I noticed when I swapped the Bridgestones out.

Lets see...., 2000- miles outa the stock rear. Tire brand dont matter. Stop doing burn outs if you want more mileage.
If you do alot of drags maybe go with Shrinkos??
