Ain't Dis A . . . . . .
Welp, Changed my oil today. Filter was a pain to get off. Had to destroy it. Anyway, as I was pouring the used oil in the container, I saw the dag'gon washer for the drain plug at the bottom.
Question, what harm would it do to leave plug on with no washer?

It could leak.
wipe it clean, and watch it, If it leaks you can drain oil in a CLEAN pan and reuse after you replace the washer. If you have no leak ride until your next oil change.

A good parts person at the dealer would always offer you the 50 cent drain plug washer when you asked for an oil filter.....my wife is a good parts person!

Yep, got a little scared about that washer. Took the time to put it back on, then went for a nice long ride.

Did the same thing one time after I had put the new oil in the bike.
Unscrewed the plug, blocked the hole with my finger, put the washer on the plug, and screwed it back in. Barely loss any oil.

Leaving the washer out will contribute to global warming and melt our icebergs thus flooding New York and Florida which will surely wipe out half our forum. Fish will have to close the site, and without good discussion reparte, half our bikes will blow up or catch on fire. The remaining owners will have to try and sell their bikes on e-bay but nobody will want to buy them because they catch on fire so then the wives will start yelling at us and when we can't get back your 11 grand, they're going to cut off our balls in the middle of the night and then we'll all become unicks thus ending our family line...
Man! Put that washer back in quickly!
Oh-- You say you did? Didn't read that part. Never mind--
