Air shifter mount?
How do you guys with air shifters have your rams mounted?
Is there a way without spending $90 on a Muzzys mount?

Kinda thought that the motor mount bolt looked like it could be threaded inside.
Have you had any problems with the clevis binding on the shifter arm?

Maybe you could buy a mount from Pingle. I like the one for their solonoid shifter.

tap was a 5/16, I dont remember the drill size. then used a carburetor stud, fine thread bolt 2 1/2" long. you need a spacer and some washers to get the shifter tight but it has some movement at the top. wee

if you get the MPS, or use the plastic airline, make sure and protect it with some fuel line, the heat from the engine could allow it to pop. wee

I have the MPS kit without the bottle.I'll make sure to cover the lines.
Did you mount your air solonoid direct cause it was easier or for quicker reaction?

Use a 17/64" drill bit to bore out the motor mount bolt, use a 5/16" tap and use a full thread 5/16" bolt and a spacer.

I used a threded rod and put it through the engine mount hole, made a spacer and bolted everything up. Works great.

Yep, seen that done as well, you will need to use 1/4" to do it that way. It is probably the easiest to do.

I used a nut that we use at my job,its for a bolt on valve cover for a aircooled VW engine. I thread one end to fit the zx engine stud 10mm X1.0 (if I remember correctly)and the other end is 8mm X1.25 for the ram bolt.Ill try to find a pic.
