my 14 engine is gone
was going 290 kmh and the engine died .just squeez the clutch as soon as the engine start to slow down and was able to keep it up...the temp gauge was well over ½ and yes there was enough oil in it.open the engine and the pistons 2and 3 were seize on race pin side .the block is scrap and kawi will pay unly for a cylinder replating and will not assume the labor.all i can tell you is after 7bikes this is my last kawa and i will say hello to the new suzuki hayabusa next year.

Sorry for your luck ...Got any pictures of the motor ??? seeing that you only have one post you may not be truthfull . Trolls do this all the time and that's why i ask ...A little proof would be nice ... I have over 500 runs on my zx14 and not a single problem....Smokin..

....oh reeeeeeally?...hmmmm.....please elaborate with pics....and tell us which dealership you're dealing with....when did the catastrophic incident occur?

yes i'm a french canadian,yes will post pictures that were send to kawasaki,don't only make pass with the bike but going 200-240 long times,it's my first post but been on here for long time,had vf1100-86 ,an eliminator900-85,a zx9-99,zx12-02,acbr1000-05,a zx10-06 ,and that zx14-06,no i don't already have busa fess up but i know that suzuki delever when it 's power time,you can call me what you want i don't care i just want to let you all know how kawa deal with a 16500km bike cover by the guarantee,yesthis will be my last post as soon as i put pictures on.my english is not very good but take it as you want!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

can't be worst then kawi when everybody know that kawasaki know there are problem with engines running too hot and do nothing about it.

You know fellas, when I joined this forum it was due to the fact that I was very interested in your knowledge. Apparently this indivudual has no interest in receiving info, just on board to bitch. I for one would like to thank all who have posted info that has given me valuable info.

It's a wonder he isn't asking the rest of Canada to subsidise the replacement of his engine. The rest of Canada seems to subsidise everything that goes on in that other part of Canada...
There is more Mandarin Chinese spoken in Canada then French...Learn English or moreso learn Chinese...

The zx14 engine will blow up. But its usually from spraying, turbo, or losing a drain plug. never seen 1 blow up naturally aspirated.

I can speak for Suzuki dealers since I own a Suzuki have had several problems its a 06, been in and out of the shop and nothing I repeat nothing has been covered by the manufacturer I'm selling that pig and buying another Kawi. So if you think the grass is greener on the other side go for it but judging from the list of bikes you claim to have had it seems Kawi never let you down.
