Nitrous 14at Maxton?
There was a 1417 ZX-14 at Maxton. It had notrous/methanol injection, and was stretched, with an awesome flame paint job. The guy ran it on Saturday to get his licensing passes, but I never saw it run on Sunday? Where did it go, what happened?
He said he had popped it at The TX Mile before the rebuild. I was looking forward to seeing what it could do.
Anyone know the guy, or why he didn't run on Sunday?

oh what a trip 5000 on the dodge 11000 on the bike the bike dyno put out 272 rear wheel hp awesome as we head out at the last minute the 20 hour trip was exciting we arrive friday night around 6 finish up putting the safety wire on the bike and here we are today 2 license passes and we are ready to go speed channel is there filming me as i get ready to go down the track 1st gear light 2 gear hit hard all the way through to 5 then push nitrpous she kicks hard and fast everything turning into a small bit of vision as we hit 6 the bike quits pullin and dies we coast donwn again 175mph and im soaking wet i look down and see methanol spewing out of the bike all over me at 175 mph i jamb on the brakes reaching up to turn the pump off praying i dont catch fire the fuel regulator broke spewing fuel directly on motor and wind pushing it on me leaned the bike out and melted 123 cylinders destroying the motor. all that work shot down from a borrowed gauge. it was an experience and a story that i will never forget, sorry my pmra brothers i wish i could of made us proud but one more failure, next time we will be even more prepared for this experience. mr paint out from maxt on

That's a shame. When we talked I said to him "I am interested to see if it will hold together....no offense." He said, roughly, "It will hold together, It's been tested with three dyno runs."
He told me that he was only going to spray 6th....but I guess that plan changed...
