RECALL!!!! PLEASE READ!!!!!
Hey guys,
I Love new technology like any other person does. Sometimes that new technology isn't always the best thing out there. I just got a phone call from my local bike shop. They told me that Michilin is having a recall on some of their pilot power 2's. These are the new duel compound tires that were put out in the last year. I bought a set and have loved every minute of riding on them. They told me there has NOT been anyone with any problems yet, but could possibly happen.
Here are the things to look for. They only effect the front tires.
1. If your FRONT tire was made in France
AND
2. Has the DOT Number 6UCW980T or DOT 6UCW979T
They told me to tell all of my friends to go back to the place that sold them the tires and set up for a free replacement. This goes for any bike that takes a 20/70/17 front tire. Please pass along. I don't want to get hurt, or worse see anyone else get hurt.
