Hope is not lost ........Smokin ....
As most of you know i put my zx14 back to stock and have sold most if not all of my add on go fast parts ..I have held on to My Brocks Sidewinder for upcoming testing ...I will be going back to racing my car for awhile ..If my zx14 sells i may pick up an 08 zx14 next year...If it doesn't sell i will be doing some street riding with Tony , Steve, JesseJames, Steadyteddy and other local Bikeland members ..
But i'm not going away , i will be here ... I will be tuning on JesseJame82 zx14 as well as helping Tonytooth with his zx14 ... Jesse want to run Prostar and some other local races , Jesse is even lighter than me and his skill level is getting better everyday ... Jesse is a very young man and i feel he is going to be a name in racing one day ...
Bottom line is i will be testing new go fast goodies on Jesses zx14 as well as others with zx14s ..This bike has way more to give and i'm going to try to find it ...I will be doing more testing and post up ETs and MPH like allways ....The only change will be i'm not doing the riding... I have just as much fun testing and tuning bikes as riding ...Smokin.....

smokin' what rpm were you launching at?
And what rpm did you shift at?

Smokin' - It feels we are losing an icon as well as an enormous resource to the racing game, but I am glad you are going to be sticking around at least to offer your 2¢.

Stu Launching is a little strange , what works for some people doesn't work for others ... But here is what works for me 5500 to 5750 .... The shift point are very every important...You need to shift right before the rev limiter without hitting the limiter .... Limiter is set at 11400 so try to shift at 11300 or 11200 ....... This works best for me and you will have to thank Brock for that bit of info as he was the one that told me ... Smokin..

I hear you Smokin'. I too race my turbocharged Mustang alot and also race RC Nitro cars as well.
Thanks for all of your input though as it is always valuable and interesting to see.
