Another Tampa FL. owner, sold my ZX-12 and bought a '07 ZX-14 just took it in to have exhaust, pcIII, fan blade,TRE, butterflies removed and put on dyno also stretched and lowered. what is average sae hp rating everyone has had with stock dyno runs and with mods. would like to be able to compare when I pick mine up tomorrow.

Depends on the dyno ...But between 177 and 187 is what we are seeing ... That would be after break in .... The bike picks up a good bit of HP after 1000 miles ...

ZXN4FUN:

go to www.brocksperformance.com and read the "Low End Performance Gains" part of his ZX-14 diary...your friend won't need a TRE if you pull the secondary butterflies. It's one or the other.

Enjoy the 14...it's worth riding before pulling the flies to see what kind of performance gain you get after they're out.
