10R will stay with any 1098 in the corners anytime...it's not really about the bike at that level, more about the rider. I've got buddies on GS's who can eat experienced riders in the corners. Meantime, the Desmo won't stay with a 10 in the straights.

Uhhh nope, I don't much care for those spaghetti bikes. Fish is the kind of guy that always has to be right, even when he's wrong. He will never admit otherwise. The 1098 is just a fancy piece of overpriced tin. :d

U callin' me cheap? You really wanna go there with me Fish? The DUC dealer here is the only one in the city and he's a dick dealer, not a DUC dealer...so even if I wanted to buy that can of olive oil, which I don't, I wouldn't dream of buying it from them; service is non-existent and from what I know about them spaghetti makers through some friends that unfortunately have 'em, they need lots and lot's of service -- and olive oil's not easy to find on road trips.

Dude...yer fucked. I own and ride 4 bikes -- see my sig. I need another bike like I need a third leg...what's so hard to understand about that concept. I have no fucking time to service 4 motorcycles...especially on that needs service everyday. I also have no room. I could buy the POS1098 without batting an eyelash...but have ZERO desire to sell any of my other rides to make room for an overpriced pasta maker...
Here's a thought...why don't you just ship your Ronco pastamaker to me in Montreal to ride for a few weeks...when I'm done with it, I'll send back the remains. Since yer obviously not a cheap fuck like me, you won't mind spending the cash to fix her when I'm done with it. I have a logistics company that'll pickup and deliver back to you for about a grand...
When I'm done; I'll write a real unbiased article about her and you can even post it her on Bikeland fer all of yer readers! :d

I have a 1098s and before that a 998, those pasta makers as you call them know how to build a bike, Ohlins front and rear, Brembo monoblock brakes steering damper as standard, oh yeah, and that unmistakable gutteral v-twin rumble. As for fish letting you drive his bike...pah I wouldn't let you drive a rusty nail with a walmart hammer. Fuck off back to the Bussa site with all the other fat cunts and shut the hell up...biartch
