MUZZY DRY SHOT,DYNOJET HUB,Q-Shifter & LCD.
Got the Muzzy 50HP DryShot, DJ Quickshifter & the Hub w/ LCD display coming this week. Gotta step it up. I got Tru195 talkin' yap yap bout that 07 GSXR1k. He just did the spray & he's got 211 at the wheel. I knew he had to go that route though, with the way I was leavin' him on a roll-on. He had no choice. Wonder what he's gonna do now? He's not even gonna get a solid week of shit talkin and I'll be spoon feedin it right back to him! lol.....
I'll post the Dyno results, opinions on all the hardware and electronics.
Stay tuned!

Well, I will have tuned the A/F ratio to optimum. So, hopefully there wont be anything real scary to look at as far as that goes.

I'm pretty comfortable with the muzzy dryshot. Valves dropping? Elaborate.

TonyTooths bike on the dyno with a 40 shot made 207 hp and 177 on motor... that was with 6% added to the top of the p/c A/F was 13.0 12.9 .... Yours should make more with the Muzzy kit beacuse it shoots n20 right into the stacks .... Tony and my kit shoot into the ram air tubes before the filter ... Mine with a 30 shot made 214 , but that was not on a dyno ... I used the MPH and Weight at the track to get those numbers ... 505 pounds and a trap speed of 163 mph ..I'm sure ram air played a part in the numbers over Tonys numbers on the dyno..
I just installed a Muzzy kit on Jessejames bike and it a pretty slick set up (costly but slick) Hitting the spray in first gear is a NO NO even at 62 wheel base ...Smokin..

Oh, BTW.
Yes Brock said he would never advocate the use of dry nitrous systems, as they are difficult to balance flow to all cylinders, and the harmonics can destroy cranks etc..
I have heard before of the valve train issue too.
I think if you aren't running awindow switch ppl are running it deep into redline, as the stock rev limiter is not agressive enough to prevent nitrous from overrevving, and the valve keepres are the weak link, as told to me by the guys at Carpenter, and orient.
The big bore big block engines with big cams anf ported heads are modifying the valve train as well. Larger keepers, etc

Well, I guess I'm gonna be playin' in the Motor soon!
What's the Big bore kit a 1427cc? Cams, Carillo rods , HD Springs ,valves etc. etc. Then I can throttle down the spray alittle. lol....
Anyone got any 1st hand experience with how this type of set-up runs? Streetable?
I had an 1164cc build on a 90' zx10 went thru 3 motors due to the waterjacket cracking. Sized down to 1109cc & it ran like an OEM motor. But, the power dropped big time.
Would like +200HP on motor, reliability is paramount.

I installed the DJ Quick shifter today. Beautiful!!! This thing works like a dream! I've had it in a box for a while now, just never got around to installing it. Wish I had done it sooner! I'll get the 14 up on the Bike lift & take some pics w/ precise measurements for install. I've read there was a couple of issues installing them in the past. This one is Perfect!
As far as the NOS map goes, when I get the Muzzy kit installed & mapped out I'll gladly send anyone a copy. Though, I do not recommend using it on any system other than the Muzzy dryshot set-up for the 14. Also, even with that exact set-up in use I'd still adamantly recommend confirming AFR's on the spray w/ a dyno.

I've always wondered about the shifter. I don't shift with the clutch anyways. Will I benefit much from the quick shifter?

This thing is SWEET! You'll drop a tenth or 2 with it. I thought to myself "Ah, how much quicker could it be?" Believe me it's quicker!

i think using n2o with the quick shifter is a no no.
the pc quick shifter kills fuel to unload the motor to shift. but youll still have nitrous shooting in there. with nitrous its alot better to kill spark.

Just use a window switch for the spray. That way you can have it shut off before you get to your shift point.
