oh well shit happens.
you go too fast on the corner and can not turn, you hit the gravel and then you go down, how many times this has happened.

It sucks! The guy is out racing around and having fun one minute and the next his career could be completely over due to one more mistake.... a single overstep. I have seen a couple of my friends eat pavement because they rolled on a little too harshly on a turn. Exit ramps are the worst and should be navigated with extreme care.... but the guy did not even have a motorcycle license so who knows if he would have known that.

Goodness gracious Stevefl... you have such a way with words... I am sure that you do not exceed the speed limit. It doesn't say that he was doing wheelies with a helmet cam rolling. I sure would like to see you tell him that to his face... He messed up... but you have no idea how or why... I think it is unfair to call him a squid!! I hope that he is able to mend and get back on the field. I think it is cool that he had a 14... too bad that he lost it....
Now the guy on the Ducati that was 'reportedly' weaving in and out of traffic... (the article that Fish had on here)... seems to have been pulling some squid moves... that I'll give you.
Just my take... but we all have our opinions...

Yeah, and all that crap woulda done what for him, it seems like he had issues riding the stock bike as such. Do you guys ever think "hmm, this longer wheel base may not be very conducive to the cornering or turn-in aspects of the bike?" or more like "yo all my polished stretched shit hella pimp yo" I tend to believe the latter.

This might not be the best place for that attitude.
Many on here have THEIR bikes for reasons other that roadracing and high speed turn-ins.
If you want to stand your bike on it's nose and see how long it takes too move a tree out of the corner, that's great, but other people may like slow and pretty, some like long and fast.
When I ran backroads a good friend ask me IF I wanted to throw a new bike down the road. Why did I just push it off a truck and save the hospital bills.
He was a drag racers.
Just goes to show how you can make anything sound stupid if you don't like it.
Enjoy what you do and let others do the same.

The zx14 is more then just a drag racing machine. The people in Europe handle turns as if they were on 1000cc class. I too, come in and out of off ramps with class. The bottom line is LEARN THE FUCKING BIKE.....AN KNOW YOUR ROAD. STOP MAKING EXCUSES. It pisses me off that people like Lavar, Ludicris, Ben, and a bunch of other celebreties by these bikes, get them all chrome out, full of horse power, and can't ride worth a dime. FUCK THEM!!!

Damn maybe Kawi should require buyer to get your approval before they buy.
Should this be all buyers or just the high profile celebs?
Why would it piss you off what others buy with their money and what they do or don't do with it?

Gravel is the result of someone riding outside of their limit, clear and simple. Too many assholes going through midlife crisis -- buying bikes to nurture their precious ego...

That's a sure formula for disaster. Seen many of my friends do exactly that and crash, most surviving it, but others not so lucky.

The true riders and ex-racers I ride with know when and when not to push the envelope while riding...so they don't take tumbles in the dirt...

Gravel trees and street bikes don't go well togther. Steve's right...and more people should wake the fuck up and smell the coffee.

All this -- not to mention one stupid fuck that blingsand stretches his 14 and then tries to wax corners with it...what a dick. Dumbass fucking dick...

Ninja12 your missing my point. My point is I don't feel sorry and sympathic to the stars, I could give damn how much money they have, it's when you start saying "his season is over, wow that's a nice bike, riding with out a helment, couldn't have been Bens fault", that I get pissed. Like I said learn the bike, learn the rode "Stop trying to be something your not", a good motorcyclist.

being a cowboys fan i was not too sorry to see lavar out for a few games. he gave aikman a cheap shot out of bounds one time that hastened his retirement, then a 14 took him out. what goes around comes around.
