WHAT BRAKE PADS AND ROTORS are good for upgrade?

Okay,

I want to upgrade the brake pads and rotors on my ZX14? What is the recommendation?

I could only find EBC with pads and rotors. Any suggestions. Does anyone know if Brembo make brake set for this bike?

Sincerely

James

replacing the brake lines with steel ones may be an obvious improvement. but the brakes on my ZX14 are one of the bikes better performaing components

I had a problem with the stock pads fading. Installed some EBC's with favorable results. I'm sure rotors and ss brake lines would be even better!

If you're talking about braking performance, not looks, I've done many stops from around 200 mph and above on my 14 and I'd say the master cylinder, calipers and rotors are well up to the job, very good in fact. The only change I'd make is to fit some braided lines.

I noticed my front fadding abit (rarely use the rear on track) towards the end of a session during my last track day. Was using it alot due to some ah...., interesting riders in our group and Portlands 2 straights that I hit 175+ on.
Hell my front rotors are blued!!
Going to try EBC's GFA race pads in front and HH in back. Plus fresh fluid.
Later comes the lines. Got good pressure and feel.

+1 braketech ductile irons are the way to go. just be careful when you wash your bike, the rotors oxidize (rust orange) almost instantly. forget about spray on chrome/wheel cleaner too :P
