Hey fish I found this today. This website is not always correct, but this was the first website to hint at the ZX-14 several years back.

well, if they say that removing the front fender on a 14 will knock off 5 to 9 mph off your top speed. What do you think that huge scoop on the side that cools?.... the..... you know...... that........ Yea...... the tail light bulb. will do to it.

Well that's two different pics right there, might be it.
Kinda sad that it will look 10 years-old within a year. Suzuki's flagship bike looking a decade old when it's redesigned.

The orange and black looks hard core much like the 1000.call it what you want but why changed the body that much.it has the best aeros.why mess with that.if it has only 30 more cc but lighter to power weight ratio if will be a beast on the race track and top speed if unrectricted.I cant wait as suzuki will rasie the bar again.3 hp increase maybe.i bet it will fly off the show room floors as did the other hayabusas.

You read my mind about the question I wanted to post regarding the front fender swop with a zx 10's front fender. And the scoops at the back does not make sense. No under tail exhaust to cool!

so how are you and the 14 getting along? any mods? any track time? you've been kind of quiet over at .org....
I like it. No track time. Had to have a little more work on my elbow done so I'm guessing middle of July I'll get it to the track. I did jump into it the other day and it sure felt fast for a mostly stock bike. Surprised me to say the least. Pipe, pc , about 5 over, lowered, 2 up in back, flys out, modified filter, and airshifter. Other than that, almost stock.lol

I for one think it is a Nice looking bike... But I always thought the Busa was a better looking bike then the 14 But I am a function over form kinda guy so I wanted the fastest bike I could get

At least they didn't make it look like every bike i their lineup. Last thing they need is another GSXR, especially a 600lb looking GSXR.

Ugly? I think it is far from ugly... although I have never been fond of the rear hump one bit, but I am sure there is a mod cover to replace it with. I wonder if it will have the same problems we have with the 14's though. You basically have to spend thousands in mods just to get the 14 into a tolerable working condition but once you do it is incredible! I am one who wouldn't mind having a 14, a Concours14, and a Busa parked in his parking lot but I can't afford all that.
