SPECIAL EDITION ZX-14 -TAMPAS NEWEST MEMBER?

Hello everyone, I've been reading the forum for sometime now thanks to Bigdtd and thought I better join up. If you see the white ZX at Quaker Steak, Riverview, LA hangout, Rockhouse Grill or yes Harley events, come and say hello. I have the two brothers, fender eliminator, helibars but am PLANNING PC/dyno and either air or pc quickshifter. YES I am open to advice and opinions on the above plans especially a good dyno man and air VS quickshifter. Everyone ride safe and I'll see you around!

Nice - I saw a white one at the stealership Saturday, and it looked 100 times better in person than in the pics I've seen...

Welcome!

bigdtd showed me your super-sweet bike at quaker steak!

There are several of us from Tampa/St Pete/Clearwater on this forum. You''ll certainly get advice here on this forum, I suspect Tony and/or SmokinZX14 will post up a reply soon regarding a local dyno.

Welcome to the forum, and as far as the Air vs Quickshifter, I think most drag racers would say the Air Shifter is the way to go, the quickshifter basically just eliminates the need for the clutch you still have to use your foot to shift and when I was foot shifting my bike I didnt use the clutch anyway just preloaded the shift lever and bumped when I was ready to shift, So me personaly I see no real advantage to the quickshifter, and I love my Air Shifter

Well you will not need a dyno man if you go with Brocks package ...Get the pipe and p/c ( pre mapped) from him and you are good to go ....Ask Steve what he thinks about his Brocks Gen 3 pipe and Brocks map.... If you want to go real fast and make some noise get the Brocks Smeg and map.. And by all means pull the flys out and get a good grip on the handle bars !!! lol... If you want a good bang for less money get the Muzzy S/S pipe with the oval S/S can ..It sounds great, looks great and even without a P/C it will give you a great bump in power..As for the shifter ask TonyTooth about his quick shifter , he loves it .... If you want to shift by button get Muzzys CO2 air shifter , i have one and could not be happier.... Oh and welcome ... Smokin..
