Are you positive about it being stripped?
Did you manage to get it loose at all?

Lots of times tapping the screwdriver with a hammer will provide a temporary fix to the phillips head.

Craftsman's "Screw out" stripped screw removal set should make short work if the screw. Long nose vice grips might work too.

Never stripped one of those screws out myself . Close to it one time but the hammer trick worked.

Shame only one screw remains....

Make a tool. get a pair of the extra long 90deg bent nose long nose pliers. Cut the long nose back about halfway. This will do two things, give the jaws strength, and also because the jaws are shorter they will have room to work. You can grab the screw head and back it right out. The long handles give the reach you need, and the shortened jaws give great power and leverage, like being able to get a pairof vise grips in there, No need to buy super expensive ones either.

If... the whole thing gets really ugly. Pull the throttle bodys, then either drill out the screw or take it to a local machine shop (call first) and ask the if they have an EDM hole popper. If they do it should only take a few minutes to get the screw out, they will charge you a 1hr min though. Probably cost you about 65 bucks, all things concidered a cheap lesson

I pulled my throttlebody and drilled the screws out. I had THREE screws that just would not come out. I tried heating, used the hammer trick, tried the long pliers trick but nothing worked. Sometimes drilling is the only option. It was worth the work. The ZX14 really flies now. ( no pun intended.) Good luck, Lee.

Some people may not like what I am about to recommend but I have done to a couple of my friends bikes when they stripped the screws out, first make sure that you do not OPEN the primary butterflies then bend the secondary that is stuck upwards and use a sharp flathead and a hammer to hit the screw and after about 5-10 good wacks with that sharp screwdriver the screw will break just make sure you have a magnet handt to get all the little pieces out of the throttle bodies

i got the screw out . i drilled it out with a drill bit and a drumel , i took two flexible magnets and lined them around the wall of the throttle body to collect the shavings worked very well . the flies out are bad ass, nothing but pull and a smoother idle

I did the same thing. As a matter of fact it was the same screw. I used a set of plyers to get it loose , and then it came out no problem. Dont put the flies back in keep trying.
