Dry Start
Anyone with a new zx14 have dry starts
Defintion: You start your bike and there's a small rattling noise near the oil pump. It's like a mico second before the oil hits, then you don't hear the rattling anymore. Initially when I bought the bike I didn't get this sound, now I do sometimes. Bike is still under warranty, what's your thoughts?

its the tensioner. needs to presure op for a second. no sweat.......

So there's really nothing I need to worry about, or should I tighten it, loosen it, ???????

Hydraulically self-adjusting. Just keep clean oil in the engine.
