Launch RPM

Hi guys
Nice site, it.s really informative. I have a '06 14 that has a stock wheelbase, slammed, TRE and a PC USBIII. I was wondering what a good launch RPM was for a stock WB, i am currently running 9.94 1/4 mile at 142mph and a 1.65 60foot, I know i can get more out of her, i've just gotta get my skills up.
Are there anymore aussies on here? I wish i got the internet earlier after finding this site!

I used 4000 to 5000 when I was stock wheelbase and 6500 to 7000 at 63.5 inches

Stk wheelbase and slammed.
5,000-5,500 is the range where I try to stay.
I like 5,000 because I can let the clutch out faster and just feed throttle
5,500 is a little violent ride for me sometimes.

with the flies in and 17-41 gears, 5000 rpm and ride the clutch out keeping it above 6000 once rolling off the line.
with the flies out, and 16 -41 gears, 3500-4000 rpm and drop the hammer and dump the clutch

..... all on stock wheelebase and lowered suspension.

Thanks guys. i used to launch at 5000 when i was stock height and got a 10.04 with a 1.69 60 foot. but fried my clutch after 11000km (6800miles) that was with riding the clutch pretty hard though( the steels were as black as my bike when i pulled them out). slammed i've been throwing it out and cracking the throttle at 1500.but i almost flipped when i tried it at 3000rpm. maybe i shouldn't be as aggresive. Thanks, I really apreciate the help.

Over here in Oz i rarely see 14's on the road and the only 1 i've seen at a street meet was running 13's, I've had her 10months and she still attracts alot of attention! :-) and the Busa's always get upset after a run.
