pirelli's wear well! Pics!
Made a new friend, who just bought a 07 zx14.
Well, they hear me comin (smeg)
but the plasma electric blue gets all the looks from women... 
its femininie.... oh loohk at da purty blu bike...
Oh well, certainly, it is pretty....
My Pirelli strada picked up a nail last week, and quite honestly I couldn't wait to get rid of it.
They wear like iron, but stick like it too!
I shoved a plug in it and proceeded to burn it up.
During the strada's last ride, I was lighting up the tire through all three gears, when twisted open from 10 mph.( no cltch just yanking it open!) I abused the hell out of it.
I wish he would have got pics of the smoke rolling off the back tire while it spun at 130 mph, and i was only travelling 40 mph!
He was rolling on the ground telling me about it , I wish i could have seen it. I wasn't looking anwhere but ahead! LOL
I don't trust plugged bike tires especially at the speeds I ride.... 
This might sound squidly, but I have always finnished off my tires good and proper.
Hell I paid good money for it, I'm gonna get every minute / millimeter of gratification i can.
LOL.... 
The strada's don't smoke nearly as much as the bridgstones i have baked before!
Must be all that silicon, and less rubber compound.
a figure 8 for good measure, and of course a happy face!
Well I am impressed with the steel belted carcass, i rode slowely for 25 miles home on it with the steel showing!
amazingly, it never threw the plug!
Sorry about the chicken strips!
Since i raiseed the rear suspension back up to match 1.25" down in frt, my stubby legs wouldn't allow me to burn the edges...

that's the shit. Man I tried that one day with the shinko and made the mistake of easing off the gas. This has only happened to me once but the damn tire started sticking and pushed he front tire about 50'. I could not get it to break for shit so I wet the ground and started over. It went out with a fight man!

although it had a superior pilot!
yes, I do not recommend it for inferior beings.
I have had a front tire go flat at 160 mph, and was able to ride it 5 miles home.
front end wobbled, rode it down through the wobble, pulled over only to find the tire flat.
I figure it took about 1 second to deflate, a blow out except the tire did not blow apart essentially.
Cruised home slowely and did NOT lean it in corners.
I figured the rear would be ok as long as I babied it....
