Another way is just to lower it at the forks. It takes a little longer but you don't have to worry about the strap getting in the way.

My forks are lowered a little but it doesn't work the same as a strap. A strap pulled tight does not allow the suspension to travel out when the weight is off the front while taking off. The forks not extending out will help keep the front end down even more than just lowering the forks. Lets say you have the forks dropped all the way down, it's still not a bad idea to strap it where it sits.

Awhile back I saw on the Schnitz racing web site that they had inserts for the front forks that compressed the springs, thus lowering the front end without having to slide the fork tubes up. Has anybody tried this??? It looks like it would be easier.

TonyTooth, where did you buy the GPR steering damper from? I'm trying to find one on the net and most places dont have the 14 listed for this yet.

Heard they did some improvments with the new GPR stabalizer this year smaller too glad to see the price is still low sounds like a good investment.

I think I would choose that model if I was limited on room. A friend of mine had the old model on his 05 ZX10 and he had to cut the side of his key so it would clear the stabilizer. In those cases it may be good but looks wise, I prefer the old one. I still want to see it in person to make a better judgement.

OK so work does it work? Youve had it abit. Is there much difference in pressure on the adjustments? I need one for the flats so I'm really curious how well it dampens full on for there and how light it can go for the street.
Thx, TC

There is a lot of difference in the adjustments. I only have it set on #3 and it is doing the job I expected. I went out last night goofing around and hod no issue like in the past. I may bump it to #4 but I am affraid it may feel too tight. Still testing and tuning.
