Front Hub Question

Got new tires put on today at a small local shop. The only reason why I went to this shop was because nobody else could fit me in until the end of the week.(Rear Tire was limpin pretty bad)

So the guy mounts the rear and the front.

But I noticed that the Nut that goes on the other side of the axle was sticking out just a hair farther than the other side( Almost unoticeable). I asked the mech. about it and he said that the the axle and nut were on as far as they would go.

Any insight would be most helpful.

Cool. Just wanted to know.

Another question. As I was going home, I sat up and let go of the bars to check for balance. I noticed the bars working back and forth almost again unoticeabley(a very slight ocsilation). I was going about 60mph

Not trying to be picky, but is normal.

Just don't want to get up into higher highway traveling speeds and get into trouble.

Thanks Again.
